It was great to be back home again, although the back to back games are usually a tough test for a lot of clubs. Round 5 delivered mixed fortunes for the Tigersharks.

The Gummiesharks looked the goods on paper but came up against a superior and polished Diamond Valley team. Diamond Valley got the jump and the Gummies bit back and were within touch at halftime with some great disciplined play. However the Gummies slowed down in the thrid quarter and the Valley blokes came out with clear intent and began to find the big sticks. DV continued the good form and ran out comfortable winners.

The Masters just managed to get 18 on the track whilst also helping compliment the Hallam team. The Sharks just couldnt get it together and took the first half way too easy giving the Hallam blokes the lead at halftime. After halftime the boys seemed to switch on and dominated proceedings, particularly in the last when Hallams numbers were depleting. Tigersharks won easily in the end by 10 goals.
The Supers had something to prove after last weeks loss to Northern. With that in mind the boys were always going to come out and pull out something special. Quality delivery of the ball all around the ground was key to keeping possession. Old Scotch chased hard all day but were too easily pressured off the ball and were unable to create anything up forward.
The game put the supers back into the four and have a big test next game travelling out to Sunshine to take on ald foes Western Devils.
